Antimicrobials and Chemotherapy

Antimicrobial therapy helps in eradicating different types of infections caused by fungi, bacteria or protozoans. The secondary metabolites of microorganisms are the antibiotics. The clinical trials of antibiotics are being tested among patients to check the antibiotic reactions. Chemotherapy drugs have narrow range for safety and effectiveness and are strong medicines. Targeted therapy acts only on targeted genes or proteins to diagnose and treat disease. Antibiotics causes normal intestinal flora alterations and it results in superinfection with opportunistic pathogens or diarrhoea.
